Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources is Ready to Launch the Sixth Sharjah Human Resources Conference 2020

Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources is ready to launch the Sixth Sharjah Human Resources Conference 2020 under the title of th “Future of Human Resources”. The Conference will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Member of Supreme Council, Ruler of Sharjah, may God preserve him, on 19 and 20 February 2020, at the University of Sharjah, Medical and Health Sciences College - Al Razi Hall.
H.E. Dr. Tariq Sultan Bin Khadim, Member of Sharjah Executive Council, Chairman of Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources, President of the Supreme Committee that is organising the Conference, said that this Sixth Human Resources Conference confirms the success achieved by the Directorate in organising such conference since its first version until present, and the importance of the subjects and themes raised in it. This Conference sheds light on many important human resources’ issues, calling for the development of practical solutions that are appropriate to the challenges faced by human resources under the rapid changes throughout the world, in order to maintain the sustainability of human resources to guarantee the stability of society and achieve the aspirations of good leadership.
He explained that the Conference sessions include four main topics that were prepared by academic experts and competent persons in the field of human resources, based on a scientific vision, including the future and sustainability of human resources, effects of globalisation on human resources and social life, human resources in light of a digital economic development, innovation, knowledge and outlook of the future generations.
He also explained that the outlook of the future of human resources in light of the digital environment and the rapid and successive changes in all fields and their knowledge, cultural and social effects on human resources, imposes on the decision-makers to develop the human resources and forecast the challenges that may be faced, while training the same with qualitative and innovative programmes enabling them to meet the future requirements. He confirmed the importance of developing the efficiency and performance of the human element, investing in its capacities and energies, as it is considered the cornerstone for achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.
He said: “We hope that the working papers and all the accompanying programmes and workshops at the Conference will form an important platform to achieve the common vision in developing all our human resources, so that they are ready for the labour market, being more enabled and skilled thanks to the new data obtained”.
